RealFlex V4 - Future Support

As indicated in our technical notice, distributed in 2007, RealFlex v4 Metering Supervisory Computer systems are becoming increasingly difficult to support. Further to this, we have now revised this notice to indicate that we can no longer provide full support for these systems. Click here to view the revised notice.

The support issues are fully detailed in the technical notice, but are summarised as:

  • We are continuing to support the SCADA software (RealFlex v4) and the configured systems
  • Support is available for the operating system QNX v4, but no new device drivers are being written. This means that new PCs cannot be supplied for spares or replacements.
  • SGC are recommending all RealFlex v4 users to upgrade to the latest software releases (QNX v6 and RealFlex v6).
