Company History

Established in 1988 as Stephen Gillespie Consultants Limited, we initially provided a software consultancy service to flow metering control system manufacturers.

As SGC grew, the focus changed from consultancy into design and manufacture. With this change we evolved to become a systems integrator providing turnkey flow metering computer systems.

With innovative R&D skills at the heart of the company, in 1996 SGC announced the launch of Meteor, a PC based flow metering supervisory computer system. The low cost and ease of use of this platform proved to be a resounding success.

In 2000 SGC launched Integrator, a PC based flow computer calculation engine. This was a radical departure from "traditional" metering computer system design. It provides a cost effective multi-stream, multi-product flow computering application.

By launching MeterNet I/O in 2005, we completed the trio of products called the MeterNet Solution. This distributed I/O system provides the specialist field I/O interface needed for high accuracy metering applications.
